                       Applying Classroom Rules and Procedures Reinforcement are strategies teachers use to encourage students who are on task and follow instructions, and also ways on how to get students who do not follow the rules and procedures to be on task. It is important that every teacher is aware of what rules students are following and which ones they are not. When students follow rules, there are ways teachers could use to show them they appreciate their efforts and get them to continue being good students.  Once teachers and students have developed their classroom rules and procedures, teachers must take action either to recognize or to correct student behavior. Such actions are consequences. Effective consequences preserve the student’s dignity and increase his or her motivation to behave appropriately.              Creating High Performance Learning Environment When teachers are creating high performance learning environment for students, they have vision, they try to challenge students and support them through to get to the required standard. After watching the video: Roller Coaster Physic, I notice that the teacher had different expectations from the students. Expectations like, Academic Expectation : Students are to design a roller coaster with the longest run so that the marble gets to the end without falling off. The teacher expects that the students work under some specific time, learn from each other’s idea so it allowed for communication, through this the students learn better and can have a view of how it works in real world. ESTABLISHING A POSITIVE CLASSROOM CLIMATE A positive classroom environment is one which the teacher and students have good relationship both academically, socially, emotionally and professionally. It allows for free interaction and enhances communication and collaboration and other 21st century skills, students will learn to live and love themselves as family. A learning environment of caring and concern is established by teachers and students, as a teacher, I will involve the students in making the rules for the class, we will establish the class essential agreement and have students to pledge and sign on the essential agreement. For the case of bullying, I will be a lead example for students, I will model what I say to the students and treat all students with fairness, warmness and respect, I will let them know that I am always available to listen and help them.
